Between Aug 13 and 16, fiction writers, editors, critics and other literary figures will meet at Northwestern for the fourth annual summer writers' conference, set to take place in University Hall, 1987 Sheridan Rd.
The conference is designed around providing an understanding of the business and craft of writing to both new and established writers. Workshops will be held on fiction, poetry, memoir and other forms of writing.
Poets Ed Robertson and Simone Muench will give readings on the opening day in the McCormick Tribune Center Forum, 1870 Campus Dr. to kick off the event, following a keynote speech by novelist Rosellen Brown.
