When the Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars list was announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America, among the 96 names was one student from NU. Senior Kyle Moore of Dublin, Ohio, led the NU team with a 73.64 stroke average in the past season. He completed the year with five rounds at par or better.
To be eligible, golfers must perform well both on the course and in the classroom. Individuals must maintain a cumulative GPA above 3.2 and have a stroke average under 76.0 in Division I or 78.0 in Division II. In addition, recipients must be of high moral character as determined by the Association and the student's college or university officials.
