If you're out of town for the Pitchfork Festival this weekend you may want to check out the Pitchfork Music Festival Preview Night at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park. Balkan beats and gypsy melodies fill the park for this free sample of some of the weekend's highlights.

RAW BOUNDARIES AT KN
The KN Gallery in the John Hancock Center opens its contemporary summer group show from 5:30-7:30 p.m. The first installment in this series of summer contemporary exhibitions will feature such renowned modern artists as Val Britton, Ana Teresa Fernández, and Chris Natrop.
SATURDAY
BELOIT'S CHELONIA DANCE
The work of three choreographers from Beloit College - Chris Johnson, Dmitri Peskov, and Kate Corby - opens at the Ruth Page Center for the Arts. The performance will include seven works by this trio of award-winning modern dance choreographers. Friday & Saturday at 8 p.m.
SUNDAY
I CHING QUARTET PLAYS
Chicago's very own I Ching Quartet plays at Schubas with North Carolina's Bowerbirds and local act The Thin Man. Schubas is the perfect setting to see the now six-member I Ching Quartet play their intimate acoustic set. They start the energy flowing at 9 p.m. for only $5 with a Pitchfork wristband.
