Northwestern's Jake Herbert inched one step closer to the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, qualifying for the U.S. Olympic Team Trials in June, last weekend. Herbert did so by winning the 185-pound division at the University National Freestyle Championships in Akron, Ohio.…

Northwestern will host Florida State at Welsh-Ryan Arena Dec. 3 as part of the 2008 ACC/Big Ten Challenge. This will be the third meeting between the Wildcats and the Seminoles since the beginning of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge in 1999.
