The Undergraduate Leadership Program housed on 1813 Hinman Ave. may also serve as a meeting space for the new Brady Program in Ethics and Civic Life next year.

"It's hard to do leadership without talking about ethics and values," said ULP director Adam Goodman. "I would hope that their greater focus on values and morals and ethics and the intensity and size of the program relative to ULP will give us really wonderful insight into how to do leadership studies differently and better."

While there are many student leadership initiatives on campus, ULP and the Brady Program are unique in that they incorporate leadership activities with an academic track.

The leadership program offers an academic certificate in leadership with a four-course sequence and accepts about 170 students per year. The Brady Program, which will start this fall, will take up to 16 students and spans three years with a series of seminars and a mandatory study abroad component.
