Wednesday the 27th- I got to Norris about noon, and worked on projects/had meetings in the building all afternoon. The ASG Senate meeting went late, and then I met with some ASG people, which means I didn't get out of Norris until 12:30 a.m. Wrote some e-mails, including responding to someone who for some reason thought I was empowered to allow "bounce-houses" on campus, and went to sleep.
Thursday the 28th- Class and meetings. Got up at 6:30 a.m. to catch up on e-mails before my 8 a.m. breakfast meeting. Class most of the day, and then meetings at Norris until about midnight. Then wrote 30 or so e-mails in the ASG office, and headed back to my apartment.
Friday the 29th- Suit day. Had three presentations to administrators during the day, ending with the Undergraduate Budget Priorities Committee final presentation to President Bienen and others. Finally got home around 5 p.m. and got out of my suit, then worked with a friend all evening/night on making a Web site for a state house campaign I'm working on. Went to the "24@NU" kick-off party at Bat 17 for a while.
Saturday the 1st- Work day. Got up at 7 a.m. to spend the day working to complete ASG projects for the year - and write a paper for class. Procrastinated by reading political articles online and watching Obama speeches on YouTube. Only 45 more days as ASG President…
Sunday the 2nd- Travel day. Flew to Missouri early in the morning to spend a few days working on the state representative campaign I'll be spending my time during spring/summer on. Spent most of travel time writing ASG e-mails and catching up on ASG projects.
Monday the 3rd- Campaigning in Missouri. Had eight campaign meetings during the day, and worked on Web site content and e-mails between them all. Spent the rest of my time reading about the Obama/Clinton race and watching campaign videos on YouTube. At least I didn't have to work until 5 a.m. like my campaign's communications director did.
Tuesday the 4th- Election Day! Campaign meetings all day. Flew home at night, checking my Blackberry constantly throughout the evening to hear about the Texas and Ohio results. Finally got home about 11:30 p.m. and watched election results until 2 a.m. or so. I got pretty angry at Texas for messing up their chance to redeem themselves after giving us President Bush. Still, election days are like Christmas morning for me!

You are a loser and a tool. More nerdy publicity for Northwestern. Great. You probably have zero blackberry friends.

I'm sorry, but this article was probably one of the most boring I've read in the Daily in a long time. If you're going to write about someone's week, at least make it interesting. (Continued…)

It makes sense for The Weekly editors to follow up the last two weeks' salacious Social Diaries with one that's as safe as can be. However, it's not anonymous. (Continued…)

I don't even go to your school but this is one of the most pathetic stories I have ever seen. Your school president sounds like a huge loser-one can only hope this doesn't represent your student body as a whole. (Continued…)

ASG is a joke at this school, so give me a break Leslie. What has ASG or this person done in the past year that has influence anyone at this school or 'made our lives at NU better'? Get involved, you are a joke of a human being, Leslie. (Continued…)

The criticisms posted on this article show an amazing dearth of wit. It's not just about making sense to balance the salacious social calendars with a report from a weekly planner - the article itself is a parody, not written anonymously by a president who recognizes the fact that people commonly misperceive him as a tool, but has enough of a sense of humor to public poke fun at himself for what others already say.
