The Cardinal took six titles in a row thanks to its singles prowess. In five of the six years, a Stanford player won the singles title.
1986-94 North Carolina Soccer
The Tar Heels took nine straight titles, with star players like Kristine Lilly and Mia Hamm leading the way.
1987-97 LSU Outdoor Track
During this 11-year streak, the Lady Tigers also nabbed the indoor title eight times, including from 1993-97.
1989-94 Villanova Cross Country
During the Wildcats' six-year run, a Villanova runner captured the individual title each season.
1992-96 Stanford Swim & Dive
When Quick left Texas to coach Stanford, the championships followed and the Cardinal won five in a row.
1995-2001 Maryland Lacrosse
Current NU coach Kelly Amonte Hiller was named Player of the Year in 1995 and '96, leading the Terps to their first two titles.
