Charges in Matthew Sunshine case reduced

The charges against Krzyston were reduced to a class A misdemeanor Monday, providing alcohol to underage persons, to which Krzyston pleaded guilty. Though Krzyston had been prosecuted by the state, Sunshine's parents and their lawyer attended the hearing. Full story

Dance Marathon 2010 comes to a close

"You guys have been so wonderful and we love you all,“ said Lauren Troy, one of the DM co-chairs. This year, Dance Marathon raised $854,396, $461,546.73 of which went to StandUp for Kids and $51,232 to the Evanston Community Foundation.

Women's Basketball: Northwestern knocked out of Big Ten Tournament early by Michigan

Despite beating Michigan twice during the regular season, Northwestern fell behind early and never recovered, trailing by double digits for the last 29 minutes of a 67-54 loss. The Cats dropped their opening game in the conference tournament for the 10th consecutive year, a disappointing result considering the other decade-long skids they snapped during their first winning season since 1996-97.
