Saxophonist Jesse Bowman and accordion player Braxton Boren, a Daily columnist, play music in front of Mt. Trashmore - a heap of trash representing the amount of garbage Northwestern produces in just six hours. The demonstration was one of several Earth Day events geared toward encouraging students to reduce wastefulness as well as raising campus awareness of sustainability-related issues.
