Former member of the Weather Underground William Ayers is in contract negotiations with the Muslim-cultural Student Association, said Associate Director of the Center for Student Involvement Helen Wood.
The speech will be in Cahn Auditorium at 7:30 p.m., according to a Facebook event created by McSA.
Ayers, a Hyde Park neighbor of President-elect Barack Obama, was a point of controversy during the 2008 presidential campaign. He recently visited NU on Nov. 7 as a VIP guest at the Rev. Jeremiah Wright's speech.
