Men's Soccer: Season ends with NCAA quarterfinals loss to North Carolina

North Carolina's Kirk Urso scored in the 61st minute to give the team a 1-0 win over Northwestern in the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals Saturday.

The Wildcats completed a strong season that saw them climb to No. 2 in the national rankings and tie the 2006 team's run to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament, the farthest the team has been in school history.

North Carolina outshot NU 12-3 in the second half after being outshot 6-3 in the first half. Junior goalkeeper Misha Rosenthal made four saves in the game. The Cats got four shots on goal.
