Two more former Northwestern players signed with NFL teams following Sunday's draft

Offensive lineman Ryan Keenan signed with the New York Giants. Keenan started his NU career as a defensive lineman, but switched to the offensive line in the middle of his sophomore year. He started 24 games over his final two seasons with the Wildcats at tackle and guard.

Keenan joins former teammate Barry Cofield on the Giants. Cofield, a defensive lineman, was the team's fourth-round selection last year.

Cornerback Marquice Cole signed a free-agent deal with the Oakland Raiders. Cole recorded seven interceptions during his NU career, and routinely ran around 4.3 seconds in the 40-yard dash in workouts before the draft.

Keenan and Cole join linebacker Nick Roach, who signed with the San Diego Chargers on Sunday, as reported in The Daily on Monday.

Last year, quarterback Brett Basanez signed with the Carolina Panthers and wide receiver Mark Philmore signed with the Chicago Bears after both went undrafted. Basanez attempted 11 passes for the Panthers.
